Seeking information on the family of George Ernest CORBY, Farmer, named as father of Mabel Rosa CORBY, of Swadlincote on her marriage certificate December 15 1906 to Thomas Butler Cutts, Junior, Lace Draughtsman of Nottingham, at Emmanuel Church, Swadlincote, Derbys. Thomas and Mabel Cutts later lived in Nottingham until he died early in 1913 after suffering from TB. They had a daughter Winifred Gladys Cutts b. 16.9.1909 at 12 Clinton Terrace, Sherwood St., Nottingham. Mabel Rosa Cutts, 29, widow, on 7 July 1914 at Erwarton, Suffolk, married Edwin John BEDFORD, bach., a Builder living in Ipswich, son of a Carno Charles Bedford, Teacher. At this date George CORBY was described as a Waggoner. I am particularly interested in trying to find Winifred Gladys Cutts' marriage (from GRO Index - possibly to a Mr. Martin of Edmonton 1939q3 -3a 4455) and any descendants. I have a photograph of her and her (beautiful) mother taken circa 1911 which I would like to share with them. I am told that Mabel won a beauty contest at Ipswich at some time.
