The death entry for Ivy CUTTS nee FORD; the death certificate would state whether or not William was still alive when she died and the marriage certificate should state their birthplace, parent's names etc. William is not listed on the birth or death of son Leonard Francis; maybe they had already parted company. William Henry appear to be the ENGLISH born CUTTS who married LONDON born Sarah BUDGEN in 1884 in VICTORIA. There are no children listed to the couple in VICTORIA. Sarah CUTTS nee BUDGEN appears to have re-married HOBART (TASMANIA) born James Edmond/Edmund JONES in 1903. Again no children listed to the couple. James appears to be the son of Letitia MCCORMACK & John JONES; no TASMANIAN birth registration for him, but there is one for an "unnamed" female in 1848; around the same time as James's birth time frame. James appears to have been previously married in TASMANIA to a Sarah Ann ROSE. The couple had one daughter Emily Alice in 1870 in TASMANIA before coming to the mainland where they started having children in 1873; 6 children born in VCTORIA; 4 of those died in infancy. Sarah Ann JONES nee ROSE died aged 43 in 1894. James Jones would have been approximately 58 when he married Sarah CUTTS nee BUDGEN and of course already had 7 children of his own to raise.
