    3. I would like to welcome all the recent new subscribers to the list. It is a while since we had a roll call and since then there have been quite a few new people join the list. For the new members, a roll call is simply a request for everyone to get their queries and brick walls on the list for the best possible results. Maybe others on the list will have your ancestors in our data, and can help you! To make your query work harder for you... keep in mind the old rules and include as many of the following as possible: WHO: State the names of people as completely as you can with surnames in capitals. WHEN: Dates are important, if you don't know the day, month and year try to put in a period (1790s, late 1800s etc.) WHERE: Mention the location of events (birth, marriage, death, etc.) in the body of the query. Include their migration path if you can. WHY: Why are you searching for this(these) individual(s)? Describe your connection to him/her. Good luck and I do hope through this roll call we can put people in touch with each other. Lesley

    2. Grace Coffman
    3. I have an Elizabeth who was possibly a CUTTS married to Thomas Buxton. Their children were: William (Oct 3, 1824) Henry (b 1822) John (b 1829) Thomas (b Apr 4, 1832) Eleanor (b Sep 28, 1826) Jonathan (b June 10, 1830) Herbert (b 1836) Elizabeth (b 1840) Ellen (b 1834) I am looking to confirm if this is a CUTTS who married my Buxton. I believe the family is from Derbyshire (Possibly Brimington) and Yorkshire (Possibly Sheffiled), ENG. ______________________________________________________________ Luxurious handmade soaps, lotions and creams, bath additives and essentials! http://www.bidwellbotanicals.com/index.html Register before December to enjoy a 10% discount! ----- Original Message ----- From: "List Admin" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, September 28, 2003 4:28 PM Subject: [CUTTS] Roll Call > I would like to welcome all the recent new subscribers to the list. > > It is a while since we had a roll call and since then there have been quite > a few new people join the list. > For the new members, a roll call is simply a request for everyone to get > their queries and brick walls on the list for the best possible results. > Maybe others on the list will have your ancestors in our data, and can help > you! > > To make your query work harder for you... keep in mind the old rules and > include as many of the following as possible: > > WHO: State the names of people as completely as you can with surnames in > capitals. > > WHEN: Dates are important, if you don't know the day, month and year try to > put in a period (1790s, late 1800s etc.) > > WHERE: Mention the location of events (birth, marriage, death, etc.) in the > body of the query.
