Dear All I have Mary marrying James Cutts at North Wingfield in November 1842, then giving birth to Tom Cutts at Newbold, Chesterfield in July 1843 then nothing! According to the 1851 census James is with Jane in Newbold in 1851 with Tom aged 7 and three other daughters aged 3, 3 & 1. Emma and Mary, the eldest, aren't twins, Emma was born October 1847 with James as father and Mary Ann Cutts nee Gee as her mother. A Mary is registered at Chesterfield in 1848 with a mother Hannah. The youngest Ann I can't find a reference for in free BMD. If I can find Mary Kirkham in 1841 with father William, a Boatman, this might confirm my tree and leave James with his other women alone - he's too confusing! Can anyone help with the 1841 census and Mary? Ray Riley
