My G Grandmother was a Mary Ann Cutts who married William Taylor 25th December, 1886 at Ecclesfield, Yorks. She was born in 1864 at Ulley, near Rotherham, the daughter of William Cutts and Ann Mozley. As a family they appear on the 1881 census living in Whitley (Ecclesfield) and William's occupation was farm bailiff. At the time Mary Ann was working as a domestic servant in Far Lane, Wisewood (Sheffield). The youngest son, Aaron was at some time later working as a horseman at Wentworth House close by. The daughters were Sarah Jane, Alice, Elizabeth and Ellen and the sons were Charles Colin and Thomas W. I would welcome any information at all about any of the above. There seems to have been another Cutts family in Ecclesfield who I cannot connect in any way with my family. John Taylor
