    1. [CUTTS] RE: Coventry CUTTS - Joseph/Elijah/Aaron Derbys connection ?
    2. Hi again Lesley The CUTTS in Coventry are all from one family, originating from Joseph who was born abt 1754 - he was an apprenticed 'Cutter' Swordsmith/Gunsmith so must be on an apprenticeship roll somewhere, not Coventry though. When he came to Coventry in the 1770's he married a local girl. I've found likely Josephs in Derbys and Notts but can't get any further as I'm stranded here in Cornwall!! Ah well, plenty to look for in the meantime on the Internet. I now have a strong lead with an Elijah CUTTS - he bought a grave for my CUTTS family in Coventry but didn't live there - he may be from Derbys - rare name. Joseph/Elijah/Aaron pretty relgious stuff! Hi William Thank you for your message, but I feel a fraud! It is John Frawley who's doing all the work. John phoned me as he was having problems getting the messages to leave his Outbox. To try and solve the problem he forwarded them to me to see if I could send them to the list. As he can send other messages, and I managed to send them to the list, then the hiccup must be at his end. Unfortunately as I've tried to contact him several times in the last week and heard nothing, ..... Thank goodness we still have telephones for when emails fail! Can I look anything up at all for you? I felt out on a limb with my Pinxton Cutts, but I've now managed to link them into Jim Cutts's,but not until about the 1600s. We've had quite a few new subscribers (now over 50 in total) so you may be lucky and find someone else looking in the Coventry area. I'll pass your thanks on to John.
