alcie was my gggrandfather and the information i have just says he married a miss cutts in wake county, they had five children Alcie,Joseph banks,Hannah,Nancy, and lucille. I believe there may be other cordells in johnston county which may be related to alcie, I found a Harman and a Cammel cordell in the 1800 census of Johnston County.
