My married name is CUTTS, so I'm therefore searching my husband's, keith's, family history. I'm led to believe that g.g father, Henry James, born 1876 lived in the south east area of London, a painter by profession, and married Elsie Sophia (maiden name unknown). At the time of his death at the age of 64 in 1939 the family address is known to be 12 Court-lane Dulwich. His death is documented in the South London Press newspaper as a formal inquest was held into his death. He was a staff painter at the Royal Navel College, Greenwich and accidentally fell to his death. > > Henry James and Elsie had 11 children, and 10 survived infancy. > > I'm very keen to search the CUTTS family back from this point and any info. would be much appreciated. > > As you can see, I'm a little disadvantaged as I'm searching from afar - Melbourne Australia. > > Any help would be much appreciated. > > Chris Cutts > >
