    3. Hi fellow Cutts listers My great, great, great grandfather was John CUTTS of Newstead who married Elizabeth SAXTON of Pleasley at Skegby 11th Jan 1792. Their 8 children all baptised at Papplewick were:- Mary (b 1792 - d 1794), Elizabeth (b 1793 - d 1798), Ann (b 1796), John (b 1798 - d 1810), Joseph (b 1800 - d 1803), George (b 1802) this was my great, great grandfather who married Sarah RUSSELL (b Wednesbury 1810) they married at St Mary's Nottingham on 28 March 1833. Essamel (Effamel) (b 1805) she had an illegitimate child Ann at Papplewick in 1825, Thomas (b 1807). George & Sarah had 6 children:- Elizabeth (b Nottingham 1833) this was my great grandmother who married William HUMPHREY (b Pleasley 1827) at St Peter's Mansfield in 1856. John (b Papplewick 1835) married Eliza HUMPHREY (St John's Mansfield 1858) Ann (b Papplewick 1837) married William LOWE (St John's Mansfield 1859) Harriett (b Papplewick 1839 married George BELL (U.M.F.C. Mansfield 1873) Thomas (b Papplewick 1842) married Minnie CONSTERDINE (St John's Mansfield 1880) Lucy (b Papplewick 1845) married Thomas Hayes WATSON (U.M.F.C. Mansfield 1871) If anyone has any link to any of the above I would be pleased to hear from them. I would be particularly pleased to know if anyone has come across Essamel CUTTS during their research, I have been unable to find any burial or marriage record of her since the birth of her daughter Ann at Papplewick in 1825, if I could find where she went from there it might help to trace other members of the family. All CUTTS records found during my research can be seen on my web pages at:- http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~brianfjohnson/Cutts/Cutts-Records.htm Regards, Brian Brian F.
