In 1881 at Fritchley, - a small village bordering Crich, Derbys, there is a John Cutts, FWK, age 69. b. c.1811 at Nottingham married to an Alice........Seamstress, 50, born Crich. Children Thomas, 22, Herbert, 21, William,16, Emily, 12, and Benjamin, 7. all b. Crich. Does anyone have the date of the marriage of John to Alice circa 1850+. Or any other knowledge of this family? In particular I would like to find John's parentage... It would seem to fit the marriage of John Cutts of Sandiacre, to Hannah Wheatcroft of Crich at Crich in 1810 - but they later had another son named John Wheatcroft Cutts b.1820, so maybe not.
