    3. Hello everyone The amount of information collected up to now on the Cutts is massive but mainly in the Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire area. Does anyone know if I can purchase Derbyshire Census's or even indexes from any of the Derbyshire societies to give me a starting point in that area. Many thanks everyone in advance Jim

    1. [CUTTS] 1891 Census Look up please
    2. Mavis Johnson
    3. Could someone please look up Moseley Street, Hucknall, in 1891 to see if the Revd. Thomas Cutts and family are there, and let me have details of his birth place, age, and his family? In Whites Directory of 1894 he was listed as a Baptist at this address. In 1900 Kelly's he was listed at Derbyshire Lane, Hucknall. I have references to two other Thomas Cutts (Ministers) in Nottingham and I would like to be able to distinguish which is which and how they are related. Thanks in advance. Mavis, in Somerset

    1. [CUTTS] Greetings for Christmas and New year
    2. John
    3. Well fellow CUTTS researchers I do hope that you have all had a productive year in your respective areas of delving into the records etc and have been able to knock down some of the brick walls. Perhaps as a result of these efforts you have found relations that you did not know about and are able to celebrate the Festive Season with them for the first time, I wonder how our Ancestors prepared for and enjoyed Christmas and the New Year. I now wish all of you a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and the most productive NEW YEAR for 2002, have fun, relax and charge up those batteries for next years renewed efforts. Best Wishes John Frawley. Derby.

    1. [CUTTS] Samuel Cutts Bible at EBAY Auction - item1484671833
    2. Samuel (4) Cutts and Mary Catherine (7) Woodward are a set of my great great grandparents. Samuel is descended from Robert Cutt(s), an Englishman who lived for a time in the West Indies and settled in Strawberry Bank (now Portsmouth, New Hampshire) soon after 1646. Samuel was born in Kittery, Maine, and died in Buxton, Maine. Catherine is descended from Richard (1) and Rose lnu Woodward, who sailed from Ipswich on 10 April 1634. Richard took the freeman's oath in Watertown, Massachusetts in September 1635. Catherine was born in Newton, Massachusetts and died in Pittston, Maine. I have followed this website for about a year, and this is the first item I have seen dealing with the American branch of the Cutts family. I going away for about a week, but expect to be back at my computer by the end of November and will be interested to hear from any other descendents of Robert Cutt(s) of StrawberryBank/Portsmouth. He generously replied as follows: "Sorry there is no mention of the location of their marriage. Samuel was born August. 2, 1777 Catherine was born August 25, 1778 Their Children Hartley born October 20, 1807 Samuel January 7, 1809 Mary February 2, 1810 Catherine July 31, 1811 Louis January 18, 1813 Amos Woodward Cutts September 21, 1814 Washington August 16, 1817 Susan Woodward Cutts July 30, 1817 Emily February 29, 1823 Hope this helps Regards Joe Ronzo" Can anyone throw more light on this couple please?
