Dear Listers, I have an Ann Squire who was born 17 June 1786 in Mendham, Suffolk. Ann married William CUTTS who was born abt. 1783 in Metfield, Suffolk. Am also looking for William's birth or christening date. I believe he was the illegitimate son of Ann CUTTS - now where to start with that one? Am looking for their marriage date which should be around 1805/1806/1807 based on the fact that their first child, Ann CUTTS was born in 1808. Ann and William had fifteen (15) children, all born in Linstead Parva, Suffolk. Any feedback would be most appreciated Regards Melanie Andersen, Jakarta, Indonesia
Hi Mavis and List, It is possible that Robert could be my 4 x Great Grandfather. He and a Hannah had 3 children - Enoch, Chr 1813 Brimington, Derby; James (my Line), Chr 12 Jan 1817 Brimington, Derby & Sally Chr 1817 Brimington, Derby. It is possible that he married a second time to an Eliza. I cannot yet find any trace of Robert in Brimington, Derby before the Christening of his 3 children. If anyone knows any more about this Line I would love to hear from you. Talk to you later. Samuel had 7 children, one of which is my father Donald E. Cutts.) A decendent of one of Thomas Messer Cutts' children thru his second wife has a picture of Edward. MSN and MSN/Hotmail in their infinite wisdom have decided to block all List mails from Rootsweb and bounce them back to me. This will mean that eventually all Msn and Hotmail addresses will automatically be unsubbed unless the matter is resolved speedily. For those subscribers affected, I suggest that you try either your "proper" ISP or change to a more reliable service. Rootsweb Admins themselves have tried to contact Msn but have had no joy! The following is part of a message to List Admins from Rootsweb Admins: >>>>>>>>>>>>>> >From my tests from RootsWeb and external connections it seems that MSN has dropped the mail routing from RootsWeb so that their mail server doesn't even acknowledge our existence. It is MSN's right to accept mail from whomever they wish,................. There is no way that RootsWeb can resolve this issue without the ability to contact MSN which we *cannot* do directly when they won't accept our mail. What does all this mean? 1) MSN subscribers email is spooled on our list servers trying to be delivered and it will bounce to admins three days after it was received 2) MSN admins email will do as above though this will bounce to me. 3) If your MSN subscribers bounce and come to you or you are an MSN subscriber, then please address the issue to [email protected] or whatever alternate means is available for you to get issues resolved. >>>>>>>>>>>>
