Hi Cec, I am working on Janet Cuthbertsons' family. She was b. 1815 in Ayrshire. Her parents were John Cuthbertson and Ann Grahram. Am trying to find an actual birth record for her. All census say she was b. in Cardross Parish, Dumbartonshire. That one indicated she was b. outside of Scotland and I cannot make out the name of the place. There is a 5 year difference between her parents marriage and her birth so I think she was not b. in Ayrshire or Dumbartionshire although all the other census report she was born in Dumbartonshire as were her brothers and sisters. She has been a mystery for a very long time. Was hoping I could connect with a Cuthbertson family who might have her in their family.
