I think the original diary is held by the library of Pittsburgh Theological Seminary (Presbyterian USA). Ken Cuthbertson In a message dated 1/28/2014 7:51:36 P.M. For a time, he was the only one over here. He rode quite a wide circuit, visiting Connecticut, Delaware, Masschsetts, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, making his way through the Wallkill Valley of New York six times. Cuthbertson kept journals of every day of his travels, recording the distances traveled, the weather, the homes where he stayed, and even what sermons he spoke. He traveled 70,000 miles, mostly on horseback, but also by canoe and walking, in the sun, rain, and snow. He crossed frozen rivers and fought off illness and hunger. Ruth Trapp, my G5GM and most of her siblings, in the Town of Montgomery, Ulster (now Orange), New York, were baptized by Cuthbertson. Multiple copies of his journals still exist, though I'm not sure if/where the originals still survive. I am in awe of this heroic man's dedication and endurance. Whew!
