On 17 December 2009 I sent the following to her. "I have not looked at your tree in detail but one specific point which concerns me is that you have William, son of James & Euphemia Turner married to Margaret Orr on 7 July 1820. This is at odds with my information. You correctly have the death of William but I believe that William emigrated to Canada with most of his siblings & both parents well before the 1841 Scottish census. Indeed all his children from 1832 onwards were born in Norway Bay, Pontiac Co, QC, Canada. You also have a Warren Cuthbertson, brother of William. I feel that is an unusual name for a Scots lad born in 1819. Do you have a source for him?" I have not as yet had any reply. William Cuthbertson might well be an ancestor of Ruth but I don't see how he can be the same William as ours. An invite to view your tree would be much appreciated.
