My ancestors with these surnames are Lewis Cuthbertson (b.1811, Lanarkshire) and Elizabeth Reid (b.1814 Peebleshire). Lewis' and his siblings (unsure about parents James C. and Euphemia Turner) all moved from Scotland to Canada in the early 1800's. Lewis has a brother John, but he married Margaret Sheilds in Scotland. John and brother Warren are the only ones whose dates/places of death have not yet been found. All other siblings died in Quebec. If this is your family let me know, and I will send you a very comprehensive document on the descendants of my James Cuthbertson and Euphemia Turner.
