He married for a first time to an unknown (from the marriage license of 2nd marriage, states that was his second marriage), the second marriage was to Harriet Scofield in Fulton Co., IL. In 1870 Harriet is found in Caldwell Missouri with children. Can't find her in 1880, nor any of her children. Children are Olive C., Freeman (maybe Truman), Joseph, Henry E, Charles and Emma. Henry ended up in Knox Co., IL. Does anyone know anything on this family?
