Hello, I am decended from a Holmes, a Curtis, and a Walter. They all lived in Lake Odessa, Michigan. Jane A. (possibly Almira?) Curtis, my ggrandfather Curtis's sister, married George Walter, my gggrandfather Walter's brother. However, Jane A. died about 1897, in fact on Mar 10, 1896. The granddaughter of this marriage was the oldest attendee at this years alumni reunion of Lake Odessa High School. I am related to her and her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren who all live within 20 miles of Lake Odessa. Jane A. Curtis Walter was the daughter of my ggggrandparents, Truman (Curtiss) Curtis and Mary Holmes Brewster Curtis. She had a younger brother Frank L. Curtis who was born Oct. 29th, 1863, who died Sept 6, 1872, aged 8 year, ten months & 8 days. I also knew Mertie E. Walter, the daughter of George Walter and Jane A. Curtis. She was born July,22, 1878. I know her grandson, Curt well.
