This whole area of DNA may straighten out alot of early genealogy--and that might change alot of records of hereditary-societies. While both Curtis families in Burlington Co were Quakers, perhaps they are from one English family which had removed to various parts of England before heading to the colony of West Jersey. I don't know of anyone doing research in England, presently, on the Curtis families. Let me know if you hear anymore about the DNA results--I'm definitely interested. How does one get in contact with Dick Curtis? If you want me to send you photocopies of the two CURTIS articles by Cook (actually, I think he may have done some up-dates also...I'll have to check at NEHGS), let me know--or I can check out the references to his articles and send that along via e-mail.
