Ruth As you are aware I am frustrated in trying to trace the Roots of John Madison Curtis born 15 November 1813 in Murfreesboro, TN. There are living Male Curtis descendants from him who are alive today. I was thinking of contacting them and getting a DNA test and see if we can't tie this Branch into some part of the family so I can narrow my research to establish an ancestral trail. Could you enlighten me as to who is doing DNA or put me in touch with someone who can guide me as to the best course to take and some idea as to cost. Your advice will be greatly appreciated Dick Hahn 47 Emerson Rd Glen Rock, NJ 07452 201 652-4083 rhahnnuge@aol.com
Dick, There is a woman who has done that kind of a project for the Salisbury line - put your message on the SALISBURY-L@rootsweb.com mailing list and she may respond. You can contact the family groups with DNA projects through Ancestry.com. Good luck. ----- Original Message ----- From: RHahnnuge@aol.com<mailto:RHahnnuge@aol.com> To: CURTIS-L@rootsweb.com<mailto:CURTIS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, February 26, 2004 7:50 AM Subject: Re: [CURTIS] DNA Ruth As you are aware I am frustrated in trying to trace the Roots of John Madison Curtis born 15 November 1813 in Murfreesboro, TN.
