He was a retired farmer. Mr. Curtis married Grace Potter November 19, 1913, and she died November 4, 1969. Survivors include four daughters; Mrs. Lura Tomlinson, Rushville; Mrs. Melba Phillips, Rushville; Mrs. Madeline Ogden, Cuba; and Mrs. Carol Briney, Havana; a son, Lyle, Rushville; 24 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, two daughters, three brothers and four sisters. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Worthington Funeral home in Rushville, Reverand Gary Bass officiating. Burial will be in Phillips cemetery north of Rushville. The family will meet friends at the funeral home 7 to 9 tonight.
