I found this clipping (source unknown, probably from Zanesville, Ohio paper) in my grandmothers genealogy records. He was a great-grandson of William and Ann Hocking Curtis (who are also my ancestors), but I have no information other than what is in the obit. If anybody knew or is related to this man, I'd very much like to hear from you, and maybe swap information. Thank you. Allison Carver Haller G. Curtis dies; Zanesville Civic Leader Haller G. Curtis, 70, Zanesville civic leader, was found dead in a chair at his home, 440 Moxahala Avenue, Tuesday morning (May 27). Coroner S.S. Daw said death resulted from a heart attack. Mr. Curtis was former owner of the old Curtis Lumber Co. on Woodlawn Avenue, was a past president of the Rotary Club and had long been active in Boy Scouting here.
