Anyway, I did some more searching on Clarence Curtis and his father James Curtis and I think I found James' father, but I am not sure if it is correct. I found the following: Joseph E. Curtis born about 1805 married to Elvira (?) born about 1813. Both were born in Vermont. I have a few names for children too: Albert (b.1842), Lucy (b.1852), Edward (b.1851), and James.
