My brick wall is JAMES CURTIS born about 1810 in Maine married to Eliza UNK born about 1818 also in Maine. I find them in the 1850 census of Detroit, Somerset Co... James's occupation was listed as a laborer. The family in 1850 was as follows: Lewis H. age 15 Rosille - age 12 James F. - age 10 Eliza - age 7 Cyrus - age 2 (my line) By 1860 the family had moved to Albion, Wright Co., Minnesota and James was now a farmer. Anyone with any information about this family will be greatly appreciated.
