Dear Cheryl, That would be wonderful if you can get a male CURTIS from the Berkeley County, WV or Frederick County, VA line to take the DNA test. I have been working with Dick Curtis on this project and have someone from the NJ line taking it, as well as a CURTIS in Posey County, IN and my own CURTIS cousin in Winston County, AL. From my extensive research, I believe that these are all the same line going back to Burlington County, NJ. I am very excited about the possibility of verifying my theory with DNA evidence. The next participant I wanted to get was someone from your line so this is just great that you are already working on it. Yes, I am a membr of the Curtis-Curtiss Society and will be publishing an article on old Jonathan Curtis for the next issue. I had to carefully choose what out of all the information I collected to build my circumstantial case would be in the article.
