Originally, there was a Caleb Hunt from Illinois who was one of the first to come to MD. Some of his children and grandchildren married into the Curtis and Merryman families of Baltimore Co. I've recently taken an interest in finding out more about the William J. Hunt from Black Rock who married the Curtis from Ashland. I think these two may be the same two you mentioned.
