Mary Curtis was the older sister of William Curtis who came to America in 1632 and settled in Roxbury, MA. They came from Nazeing, Essex Co, England. Mary married Thomas Ruggles (also of Nazeing) in 1620 and came to America in 1637 - also settling in Roxbury, MA.
