Curtis Jr., 77, of 105 Geneva St., died Tuesday (31 Oct 1989) at Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital. Born 15 Oct 1912 in Cortland. He was a son of Miner and Florence Masters Curtis. A Member of the Lewis Lodge F&AM of Howard, the Bath Rod & Gun Club, and the Amalgamated Meat Cutters Union, he retired as a meat cutter with the A&P food market chain. Survivors include his wife, Madeline D. Curtis; a daughter, Peggy Rougeux of Savona; a son, Miner A Curtis of Savona; seven grandchildren; one great grandson. Friends may call 7 to 9 pm today at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath, where services will be at 2 pm Friday with the Rev. Robert Rochelle officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Canisteo. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bath Volunteer Ambulance Corps, in his honor.
