Curtis Jr., 77, of 105 Geneva St., died Tuesday (31 Oct 1989) at Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital. Born 15 Oct 1912 in Cortland. He was a son of Miner and Florence Masters Curtis. A Member of the Lewis Lodge F&AM of Howard, the Bath Rod & Gun Club, and the Amalgamated Meat Cutters Union, he retired as a meat cutter with the A&P food market chain. Survivors include his wife, Madeline D. Curtis; a daughter, Peggy Rougeux of Savona; a son, Miner A Curtis of Savona; seven grandchildren; one great grandson. Friends may call 7 to 9 pm today at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath, where services will be at 2 pm Friday with the Rev. Robert Rochelle officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Canisteo. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bath Volunteer Ambulance Corps, in his honor. From my records: Madeline, was the daughter of Claude Lacy & Nettie Besecker
