I have just joined this list in hopes that there are others out there who are researching my particular Curtis line...... Abel Curtis (no further information, except that he supposedly is a son of a Noah Curtis) married Anna Donne who was born 1778, Ballston, Saratoga County, New York. Anna (nee Donne) Curtis died suddenly on May 17, 1854 while living with her daughter, Zelpha (nee Curtis) Snyder. Abel and Anna had a grandson, Wendell Joseph Curtis who was living in about 1926 in Rochester, New York. I have found information on Wendell, but cannot find anything on his grandparents, Abel and Anna. Supposedly Abel Curtis is descended from Henry Curtis who immigrated in 1600's, and was of Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut, and supposedly died November 30, 1661, Northampton, Hampshire County, Massachusetts. Anyone out there related to any of these CURTIS ancestors? or could someone point me in the direction of information on these people? appreciatively, ginny gandrup
