I recieved this e-mail after a post. "Hi Alan, This is just a "possible" at this point but your Virgil MAY be a son of Jay C. & Mary E. Curtis. A fragment of Jay's record is given in Harlow Curtis' ~1956 typescript "Richard Curtis of Dorchester, MA & Wallingford, CT", p. 329. Adding census records give Jay & Mary the following children (all b. NY; list not known to be complete): Orra Jay (male) b. 4 May 1880; Virgil M. b. Feb 1883; Hobart O. b. Aug 1892; David K. b. May 1894; Hannah M. b. Jan 1898. This family is in Exeter, Otsego Co. in the 1900 census. If this is the correct family, then your Virgil's line is: Richard(1), Isaac(2, 3), Daniel(4), Ebenezer(5), Miles(6), John(7), Charles(8), Jay C.(9), Virgil(10)." I have determined this is my family. Could the Ebenezer listed be the same as the Ebenezer you are referencing. Any info would be appreciated. Alan Matteson
