I have a Helen Curtis with siblings Charles and Ada Bessie Curtis. Both born in Grafton, Taylor Co. West Virginia. Big long story...my father was adopted. I petitioned the court for birth records, got them and traced his birthmother down...her name Ada Mae (Fisher) Bays. Unfortunately she is deceased...However, I have obtained a copy of her death certificate and today did research at the State Archives. Per her death certificate...Ada was adopted!! Her biological father is Patrick Charles Curtis and Biological mother is Ada Bessie Curtis. On her birthcertificate she is listed as Ada Bessie Curtis (just like her mom) It is a delayed birth certificate...her sister Helen Curtis Barkasi signed the affadavit. Do we have a match?
