However, I haven't been able to go back all that far. I have started with Dr. Elijah Curtiss b in Berkshire County, MASS, April 1812 to Abner Curtiss and Elizabeth (Salter) Curtiss. The family traveled to OHIO in 1821 and settled in Summit County at the time. They had eight (8) children, my gggGrandfather being one of them (Dr. Elijah Curtiss. Perhaps this family line of Curtiss' would tie in with your research. Belive there was a son (sibling to Dr. Elijah) named Daniel, Anna Curtiss-Harstill and a sister/daughter named Percis/Perses Curtiss-Phelps of the time of the wriitng in the 1885 History of Allen County.
