Joined civil war in Anderson, IN. 3 known wives: 1) Anna Matthews m: 11-13-1871, Muncie, Delaware Co., IN (Widowed); 2) Minerva Pennington m: July 16, 1885, Jennings Co., IN (Divorced); 3) Catherine Cline m: abt 1895, Jefferson Co., IN (Widowed). According to Pension Request sons John Harrison Curtis lived in Indianapolis, IN. John H. also used the name Curtis Six when he got married; Edgar Wagner Curtis was in Coast Defense Service in the Army last known to be in South Africa; Elias Martin Curtis last known address in Colorado; Perry Richardson Curtis lived in Marion, IN. Had two sons that died at very young ages. I have descendant info on John H. and ! Perry R.
