Charles Edward Curtis would be about 90 or so if he is still alive. He had a radio talk show called the Chuck Edwards Show in MN in the early 40's. His marriage license from MN showed he was born in North Dakota. He was married at least 3 times. Descendants would love information on how to contact him if he is living and if not, would like to compare notes on this Curtis line. Jeanette PJKH@Comcast.net

My dad died in 1953 and I would like to know who my family was and is on his side. On my fathers birth certificare it says Roy Curtis, born in Mo., and he was born in 1893.
Hi Jodi...all of my Curtis' are from Spotsylvania VA. At one time Theodocious Curtis and wife Eady(no last name) strayed into Estill Co Ky and both of them passed away there. However Theo. father I think was Richard Curtis and Sarah Jones and they were both in Va in Stafford Co. I am stuck there..... ----- Original Message ----- From: ibjodi@aol.com To: CURTIS-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Thursday, April 15, 2004 3:04 AM Subject: [CURTIS] Re: George Curtis Family This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. On the front of her house on Beaver Dam Road , which is near the harbor, is a sign that says Amos Curtis 1833. The Curtis family were in Scituate when the town was young. I think they were a sailing family. I have some Curtises in my data base but can't find info on an Amos Curtis who may have lived about 1833. Not sure why his name is on the house except to imagine that he was the first to build it. Does anyone have info on Amos. Greatly appreciated.

I'm looking for a photo of the CURTIS House in Demopolis and would LOVE Samuel's headstone in the Allen-Curtis Cemetery near there.

I must have missed the e-mail that usually tells me that something has been posted. Someone else pointed it out to me so I went back to this site and found the informaton. I am sure this is my family, I looked in my papers that I had typed up years ago when I first started researching and it states that my Great-grandfather had a brother, James Leroy. I didn't know who Herman was, but now I do. Again, sorry for a long wait on answering. Betty of Guernsey Co. OH.
