    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Curtis, Morgan, Shipp Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/TmQ.2ACIB/2141 Message Board Post: I am updating and expanding my information about Theodore Curtis and in the process I found mention of some things I would be interested in seeing for myself. I have no idea where they currently are. I do not want the originals but would appreciate being able to obtain a photo, photocopy, or scan of them, if at all possible. 1. A short history of Theodore Curtis Sr., written in his own hand, last known to be in possession of Reuben Emerson Curtis of Salt Lake City. 2. "King Castle" a novel written by Flora Lydia Shipp Curtis. Last known to be in possession of Clarence Shipp Curtis and Annie Maria Bates Curtis. 3. An oil painting of Theodore Curtis, thought to be in possession of Margaret Curtis Shipp Roberts' descendants. I believe it was printed with his obit? but that copy is extremely dark and obscured in the microfilm copy. If you do not know the location of any of these materials, would you please ask others in your family (if you are a Curtis!) if they have heard of them? If you have an upcoming family reunion, maybe they would make good items for a pre-reunion treasure hunt? Thank you very much for your time! Susan

Have you come across any info about a marriage prior to Ruth, between the years 1865 and 1871? 1870 Mauston, Juneau, WI has a Jennie, along with children from Moses' first marriage to Adeline Whitmarsh in NY. Ruth apparently was his 3rd, rather than 2nd wife as we always thought. Am very, very curious now!
