Married a Nancy A. Curtis born about 1802 to 1807 date of Death unknown their children were James Madison Collins who married Celia Adkins and John Wesley Collins who married Emily A. Lucas. As far as Location for Nancy A. Curtis through my Research was Culpeper VA. its Nancy who I am trying to go back on found some records where her parents came from Stafford VA two sets of Curtis' came from Stafford VA...A William Curtis who married a Grogan and a George Curtis birth about 1776 Death ? who married a Jemina Payne born about 1780. This is what’s confusing George and William both had children with the same names just about and they both come from Stafford VA thus I run into two Nancy Curtis here is where I am stuck any help would be greatly appreciated Thank you

To identify correct quarter, if you are UK based I would suggest that you go to your local library and ask where best to access the microfiche copies of the GRO records. This will probably be at your nearest large library , or your local LDS church or your local Family History Society -- then you have to look at the Curtis births each quarter to find William Isaac. Free BMD does not have enough of 1867 up yet to get the answer here. If you are foreign based you have to get sks to do this look up for you. marriage date -- same exercise , but possibly over a span of a number of years -- hoping you can spot William Isaac, unless you know the year , which then pins it down to just the quarterly exercise again. I do have some information about my great, great Grandfather Joshua Curtis who was in Humphreys count, Tennessee but do think he either came from N.C. or the above mentioned place as Tennessee at one time was a part of N. C. He was a mechanical and consulting engineer (B.C.E. Cornell 1872). Of his children Laura died on the day of her birth, Chauncy was a mechanical engineer, Harold was Professor of Mathematics at Lake Forest College, Illinois, Margaret I have not been able to trace, and Dorothy married Russell Hathaway Kent, another (and prominent) mechanical engineer.
