Albert was born November 22, 1881 in Constantine, St. Joseph County, Michigan Married on November 19, 1901 in Three Rivers, St. Joseph County, Michigan to Leafey Jane DeLong. He died June 22, 1958 in Three Rivers, St. Joseph County, Michigan and was buried June 24, 1958 in Constantine Cemetery, St. Joseph County, Michigan. I have four children listed as Amelia, Zelda M., Arthur S., and Jewell DeLancey Curtis Albert's parents are Wilson James Curtis and Mary F. Bailey who were married November 07, 1875 in Constantine, St. Joseph County, Michigan. I would like to know if Albert had any siblings. I am also interested in more information on his parents and children.
My gggrandfather was a Charles Curtis who farmed near Morganville, KS in the 1870's. My grandfather, Walter was a probate judge in Clay Center in the 1950's. My ancestors are Frank, Walter, Charles, Isaac, and Alexander Curtis. Morganville is about 10 miles north of Clay Center. I don't know a John Curtis. I tried to answer and old query concerning Sarah Alice Curtis b. 1858 in Iowa m. John P. Miller Oct 25, 1881 in Chautauqua Co., Kansas, but the e-mail came back to me. The researcher's name is Gerianne Dodge. Anyone out there by that name or anybody know her?? Anybody researching this family? Sarah Alice was the d/o George and Secelia Curtis. George was born in New York abt 1820 and Secelia was born in Ohio abt 1829. Mary was born Sept 1874 and died in 1955. Charles and Mary were married Oct 18, 1893 in Augusta county, Va and migrated to Iroquois county, IL by 1900. They are listed in the 1910 and 1920 census in Kankakee county, IL. They had the following children: Daisy b. Sept 1894 in VA, married Ralph Nathan West d. Nov 22, 1976 in Pilot Knob, MO Earl M. b. In what year was your grandfather Alfred Knapton born? There was about 5 by that name in the early 1900's who were born in the Leeds and Bradford areas. Leeds and Bradford are cities within a few miles of each other. Of the 5 people called Alfred Knapton there were 2 or 3 in the Thornton area of Bradford. Geoff
