I would like to find the person that submitted the information on Jennie Demonis Curtis and George Washington Yeager to Ancestry.com. I came across your information yesterday and would like you to contact me, because you need to make alot of corrections. First of all, her husband's name was not Yeager, it was HAGER and she was never married more than once and she never lived in PA. Her children were all born in Cabell county, WV and they are all buried there too. Your information is sooooo wrong. I can back up all my information, including with the family bible, burial records, marriage and census records. Jennie was my great-grandfather's sister. Please, if you submitted this information, please contact me so we can straighten this out. Thanks Becky Curtis Roberts Columbus, Ohio

John J. Curtis was born on the 14th of June 1817 in Virginia. He married Harriet Brown. Does anyone know anything about this couple? I am trying to help a friend. I suspect they are in Culpeper, Madison, or Rappahanock counties. They have a son named William Henry Curtis, born in 1852 in Culpeper county. Thanks for any hint!!!!!

I do a lot of re-posting of articles to help everyone that may be searching and this happens to be one of those articles. If your family was in the Perrysburg-Toledo, Ohio area have you posted any messages to the Ohio Lucas board? Maybe someone will know something there on your line. You might want to take a look at the "Iowa" genforum board at genealogy.com, and or my message posting history at that site. Will take a few minutes to load but well worth it. To see if I have posted anything further on Moses family to help you rule them out. Good luck, Deborah

She m, Wm H. Courser in 1836 and was listed on early census as being b. between 1820 and 1830 so I am guessing closer to 1820 if census record was correct-she still would have been a fairly young bride. Seems to be lots of collateral info tying her to family of Jairus Curtis, but don't know the specifics yet. Cynthia and Jairus Curtis family buried at Ft Meigs Cemetery in Perrysburg, but married daughters seem to be buried in Willow or toledo Memorial Cemeteries in Lucas County, Ohio. Sort of stuck at this brick wall, but keep tapping away with my little chisels trying to find some lead-Any help appreciated or just store this info away for future reference. Thanks Sandy

Chapman Taylor CLARK and 2nd wife Ella (Ellen) CURTIS MCGREER CLARK move to Illinois and reside in the 1910 and 1920 census in Georgetown, Vermilion County, Illinois. And in the 1910 census, Ella's ex-husband, Thomas, age 61, also residing in Georgetown, Vermilion County, Illinois. (MCGREER name also spelled MCGREAR). Ella (Ellen) CURTIS MCGREER CLARK died on March 20, 1926 in Westville, Vermilion County, Illinois. Chapman Taylor CLARK died on May 26, 1934 in Catlin Township, Illinois. I did note that there was a Frances CURTIS married to RAINES and resided in Loudon District, Kanawha County, West Virginia. Are Frances CURTIS and Ellen sisters?
