Surnames: Curtis - Johnson - Everett Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/TmQ.2ACIB/2263 Message Board Post: Lately I have been re-working my family of Christopher Johnson and wife Sarah Everett who moved from Hunterdon Co., NJ to Northumberland (now Union) County, PA about 1786. They had a son Abel who md. a Christina Curtis abt 1802; I have never been able to find parents for her or any family ties. Today as I was transcribing a deed that I have had for a looong time, I see ref. made to a "Lot of Thomas Curtis" - this is in West Buffalo Twp. Union County, indenture date of 06 May 1830. I just did a few census searches for Union County, PA and see a Thomas Curtis who was born in NJ and wonder if there is any connection to my Christina Curtis- does anyone have a Curtis family with a Thomas and perhaps a Christina in it?

    3. I have a few Solomons in my line that lived in Braintree, but none match yours. Given that the name was passed down through the generations, there's a good chance you're related. Take a look at: http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~amcolan/Curtis/curtis.html. Most of the information on the earlier generations was from a book cited on the page. -----Original Message----- From: Gerrie Dickens [mailto:ladybugy2k@houston.rr.com] Sent: Friday, February 04, 2005 8:34 PM To: CURTIS-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [CURTIS] RE: Solomon Curtis and Warren Curtis...Brothers For Curtis Rootweb: Good morning!
