Hello I am, Douglas Harper, and have a Cummins Ancestor from KY. Joseph Cummins m. Lydia Fleming in 1793. I have a friend whose grandfather is my neighbor and the fellow is a Cummings. His father's name is Leonard Cummings Jr. from Marysville, CA. His grandfather's name is naturally Leonard Cummings Sr. believed to also be from California. I have found some of our Cummins in California and am trying to determine if we are relatives. I cannot find a Leonard Cummings or Cummins in my research. Can anyone give me a lead. Thanks.
