I recently joined the list and wanted to post my query.I am searching for info on GEORGE CUMMINS who married RACHEL MINDY COLE in Greene co TN in 1871. I believe these to be my ggrandparents. They had a son, JOHN CUMMINS,born in Nashville TN. in Aug of 1872. John shows up first on the WAYNE CO. MS. census of 1900. There is no trace of John, George or "Mindy" on any census in TN. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it. I have limited access to TN resources at my lib. I thank anyone in advance for any help......
