Cummins, b. abt. 1803 in County Tyrone, Ireland. Left in 1825, arrived NY in June of 1826. Linked up with my own Cummins branch in Franklin Co., IN, by November 1826, and married my Lucinda Cummins six months later. I am assuming he was related to the family back in Ireland.
