Does anyone know anything about a John Cummins, who married Elizabeth (last name may have been Clinton ), who is found in Sumner, Rutherford Co., Tenn. by 1768. He operated the Stones River Mill. He died abt. 1804. I can come forward with some of his children, but can not locate his parents. Many of the early Tenn. migrants were from the Va. area, but I do not know for sure about this man, I'm just assuming ! Thanks for any help. Mary
