Cummins who lived in Chickasaw, Iowa in the late 1860's and early 1870's. He was born in Canada as was his wife Phoebe. They had a child in Vermont and one in Wisconsin on the way to Iowa. Any info on this family would be helpful. I will share what I have also. His 85 year old father John S. Cummins is on the 1880 Iowa Census with the family.
