His name was Edward Warren Cummins. All I know is from the census: he was born in MO & his parents were born in the USA. By 1844, he was in Jo Daviess Co, IL, getting married, & by 1850 he was up in Wisconsin. My guess is that he was following the mining operations--he was a miner. Susan
