    3. Well, I am not sure where our Cummins line came from yet; apparently they just "appeared" in Ohio, but thank you all for the interesting origins of the name! I am going to include them all in the family book. =================================== Researching: Pallai, Rubi, Gaspar, Palinkas Kupcik, Dzurnak, Marhefka in Hungary and Slovakia Barber, Stephens, Cummins, Hargrave, Page, Lonon, Cuthberson, Talburt, Sorrel (l)s, Chandler from sea to shining sea. Blessed are they that can laugh at themselves for rarely will they cease to be amused.

I am going to include them all in the family book. I know the feeling. Mine just "appeared" in Missouri in 1814. Personally, I believe my g.g.grandfather was hatched out of an egg, in the middle of Missouri, with no one there to see it &, of course, no parents. Susan
