Jeremiah's father was Beale Cullum, married to Jane Ridgeway (not to be confused with the OTHER Beal and Jeremiah...one of whom married a lady named Ridinger). There's a connection somewhere...I've just never been able to figure it out. I would GLADLY accept any help on this!!

He migrated to Ohio where his son, Jeremiah was born in 1810 or so. I have tried unsuccessfully to find out anything about Beal in Maryland but haven't had any luck. Can anyone out there help?

She married Francis (Frank X.) Mc Cormack. Her Mothers name may have been Mary Kate Rooney, I believe her father was called Peter Cullu/em. I know that there is a connection to the Meara family, as in Stiller and Meara- Ann Meara and Jerry Stiller and Ben Stiller, the comedy team and actor. I am interested in finding out any info on these people or other family. I do not have a lot of info but what I do have I am happy to share!

I havent had a chance to do a check on all of Authurs chilren and grand children yet will try to get to it this weekend.

Hi Jackie: I don't know what to tell you, because all I have is what I put in my posting. I don't know where Hastings is. Can you tell me? And you know, the only reason I have as much as I do, is because I had to hire a professional in London to do some detective work for me. And all I had to give him was information I got from records at the Barnardo orphanage in London where my grandmother was left. Bits and pieces of information that I didn't even know was accurate. He dug up all kinds of things for me and I am so happy. For many years I tried to do it on my own and refused to spend any money on a researcher and I got nowhere. And I sat at the nowhere gate, for 20 years. Now I'm very happy. But I can work with you a bit. This is not a very common name (I think) and that is why this list is so quiet. There might be only a few who belong. I only had my grandmother in London at the orphanage and her last name wasn't even her real name, but he took that information, got the name she was born with and where this family originated from. Hello: I am looking for information on John Cullum (b.c.1823) and wife Adeline( b.c.1826) both born in Devon, Stoke which I'm told is near Plymouth in south west England. About 1857, they arrived in London. John is employed as a Tailor at No.9 Windermere Road, Upper Holloway, Islington, in the 1881 Census. Living with him are his children- William age 27 employed as a Farrier or Furrier Fanny age 24 same Alfred age 20 Bookseller Charles age 15 Office Boy Along with 4 lodgers.
