There were several brothers who ended up living all over the island. They returned to Italy during the Spanish-American war, and then came back to Cuba when the war ended. I think there were 6 brothers who all had children, too. That's some of the background I picked up from my father. He also tells me he thinks your paternal grandmother was his aunt.
