I'll have to check Mariela's post as well. Me parece que posiblemente no debemos de llamar primo. Chances seem pretty good that Evaristo de Iduate y Petit and Pedro Iduate Petit were brothers. Otherwise, it seems too much of a coincidence that Pedro Iduate Petit's father is named Evaristo. I'm not sure if the dates match up, though. My father says that he recalls an Armando Iduate that used to be around the house in Havana with my grandfather's brother back in the day. I don't know if your family might know him too. I'm also in Miami. If we find that we're related, it'd be nice to meet some more family. I'll try to dig a little more on my end over the holiday, when everyone is together.
